Pett, Peter – Commentary on the Bible and Library Collection (55 volumes) 2 is an easy-to-read commentary in modern English by a Baptist Professor/preacher.

Dr. Peter Pett comments on Scripture with accuracy and insight. The commentary is in modern English. His style is clear and direct, concisely examining the original text, its writers, translations and above all, the God who inspired it. He uses some British spelling but generally very readable. Pett is Baptist. Included is a library of reference works by Dr. Pett.
